An occupation under the cover of a military coup was attempted in all of Turkey, by the Gülenist Terrorist Organization’s blood-stained hands. The terror, which started with the FETÖ soldiers blocking Bosphorus Bridge in the evening hours, ended with the surrender of the same terrorist soldiers at 07.00 in the morning.
The Turkish people protected its home, street, country, the government they elected and the President; in short, they protected their honor. During the resistance, 248 people was martyred. Among these martyrs was Şuayip Seferoğlu, originally from Rize, too.
Originally from Küçükköy, Rize and father of three, Şuayip Seferoğlu, who was martyred in front of the İstanbul Fatih Saraçhane Municipality building by the putschist soldiers, was a restaurant manager.
He was buried in Küçükköy, Rize and ten thousand people attended his funeral prayers.The martyr’s name was given to an Imam Hatip middle school in Rize.
