Israel on Tuesday arrested a Palestinian youth over Friday's incidents at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, his family said.
Rula Abu Sbeih said her son Sbeih Abu Sbeih was arrested by the Israeli intelligence after he ignored a police summons.
Two days ago, the Israeli army stormed the house of Abu Sbeih’s uncle in Kafr Aqab town in northern Jerusalem, asking her son to visit the police station, she added.
Dozens of Palestinians were injured on Friday when Israeli forces entered the mosque complex and began attacking Muslim worshipers, according to local officials.
For Muslims, the Al-Aqsa represents the world's third holiest site.
