Istanbul side defeats TOFAS 78-61 in final, taking home trophy for a record 11th time

Anadolu Efes defeated TOFAS 78-61 in the Turkish Men's Basketball Cup final at Istanbul's Sinan Erdem Dome on Sunday evening to be crowned champions.

Anadolu Efes was in control throughout the match, as they led the first quarter 26-17, eventually heading to the lockers after the first half ahead with a score of 40-32.

Expanding their lead to 15 points (62-47) after the third quarter, Anadolu Efes made no mistake and cruised to victory with a score of 78-61.

The Istanbul side were crowned Turkish Cup champions for the 11th time in their history, the most in Turkish men's basketball.

Anadolu Efes point guard Errick McCollum finished the match with 23 points, and shooting guard Krunoslav Simon chipped in with a 19 point-7 assist performance.

For TOFAS, Tony Crocker was the only player to score in double digits, as the shooting guard finished with 11 points.
