Turkey's Ismayilov wins silver medal in 69kg weightlifting event in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games
Turkey's weightlifter Daniyar Ismayilov won the silver medal in the men's 69kg class at the Rio De Janeiro Olympics in Brazil on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old lifted a combined total of 351kg after a 185kg clean and jerk at the event where Chinese contestant Shi Zhiyong became the gold medal winner for lifting one more kilogram than Ismayilov.
Ismayilov is a Turkmen origin weightlifter competing for Turkey.
Izzat Artykov claimed bronze to clinch Kyrgyzstan s first ever Olympic weightlifting medal with a combined total of 339kg.
