Turkey among top 5 in Taekwondo
Turkey among most important members of our federation, says head of World Taekwondo Federation
World Taekwondo Federation's President Chungwon Choue praised Turkey for being among the top 5 countries in the Korean martial art.
The 2019 World Para Taekwondo Championships were held in Antalya, Turkey from Feb. 5-6 with 396 players from 58 countries.
"Turkey is one of the most important members of our federation. Turkey is one of the five strongest countries in Taekwondo," Choue told Anadolu Agency on Wednesday following the championships.
The World Taekwondo Championships may be held in Turkey after 2021, he added.
