Transfer window open till Jan. 31 for Turkish clubs to transfer new football players
Beşiktaş will play against Akhisar on Friday to kick off the second half of the Turkey's Spor Toto Super Lig.
Turkey's top tier football league has been experiencing something new this year as trio Galatasaray, Besiktas and Fenerbahce are far from leadership.
Medipol Basaksehir are the leaders with 35 points, while four other teams -- Trabzonspor, Yeni Malatyaspor, Kasimpasa and Galatasaray -- follow with 29 points. Besiktas are at the seventh place with 26 points.
The leader Medipol Basaksehir will play against Trabzonspor in an away match on Sunday.
Galatasaray will face Ankaragucu at home on Saturday while Fenerbahce will face Bursaspor in an away match on Monday.
Fenerbahce remained in the relegation zone. Fenerbahce with 16 points are currently at 17th place in the league -- 19 points away from the top of the league.
The transfer window will be open until Jan. 31 for the Turkish clubs to transfer new football players.
