Serbian tennis star to face No. 9 seed Matteo Berrettini of Italy in quarterfinals

Novak Djokovic booked his spot in the 2021 French Open last-8 in men's singles on Monday.

In the fifth set, Musetti bowed out due to injury while the Serbian star moved to the quarterfinals for a record 12th successive year.

He will take on No. 9 seed Matteo Berrettini of Italy.

In another Monday game, Diego Schwartzman from Argentina beat Jan-Lennard Struff of Germany 7-6, 6-4, and 7-5 to qualify for the last-8.

Separately, World No. 3 Rafael Nadal from Spain also reached the quarterfinals by sealing a win over Jannik Sinner from Italy with 7-5, 6-3 and 6-0 sets in the fourth round.
