Stephen Curry once again on fire with 37 points, Warriors finish game on 14-3 run to protect home court

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 114-111 on Thursday night, took a 2-0 Western Conference Finals series lead.

Down 108-100 with four-and-a-half minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Warriors went on a 14-3 run to finish the game, including a game-saving block by former NBA Finals MVP Andre Igoudala.

Stephen Curry was on fire once again for his team, finishing the game with 37 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Klay Thompson added 24 points, while Draymond Green put an all-around performance with 16 points, 10 rebound and 7 assists.

For the Blazers, CJ McCollum and Damian Lillard combined for 45 points, while Stephen Curry's younger brother Seth Curry scored 16 points off the bench.

Meanwhile, All-Star forward Kevin Durant will miss Game 4 and Game 5 of the series, after sustaining a calf strain injury in Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinal series against Houston Rockets.

Durant will not travel with team to Portland for the next two games of the series, Warriors General Manager Bob Myers announced at NBC Sports Bay Area.
