Sky Blues can't score against Nerazzuri, Dortmund net thrice after 76th minute, Parisians' winning goal comes in last minutes
Manchester City settled for a goalless draw with Inter Milan, while Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain both won their games with goals in the last minutes in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
English Premier League club Manchester City couldn't pass the hard defense of Italian Serie A team Inter during the league phase game at Etihad Stadium.
Despite the Sky Blues having control of the ball for most of the match, the Nerazzuri wasted several scoring chances.
- Dortmund net thrice after 76th minute against Club Brugge
German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund beat Belgian side Club Brugge 3-0 with last-minute goals.
The game seemed to end with a goalless draw for the first 75 minutes, but Dortmund got the wind at their backs after that point at Jan Breydel Stadium.
English winger Jamie Gittens came in from the bench to score twice in the 76th and 86th minutes, then French attacker Serhou Guirassy's late goal in the 95th minute declared the final score.
- Girona goalie Gazzaniga's own goal brings PSG victory
French Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) won with a late goal against Spanish La Liga club Girona in a Champions League league phase clash.
In their maiden Champions League appearance, Girona held on to the goalless draw well until the 90th minute, when Girona's Argentine goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga scored an own goal at Parc des Princes.
Following these results, German side Bayern Munich top the league phase standings with a goal difference, in front of Scottland's Celtic and England's Aston Villa respectively, all with three points each.
