30-year-old Ivory Coast forward was free agent at end of June
Galatasaray have started "formal negotiations" with former Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha to sign him on free transfer, the Turkish champions confirmed Sunday on Twitter.
The Ivory Coast attacker was a free agent at the end of June after his contract at Crystal Palace expired.
The 30-year-old was previously linked to another Turkish club, Fenerbahce, Italy's Lazio and Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr.
Zaha scored 90 goals and made 76 assists in 458 matches for Crystal Palace.
Last season, he scored seven goals in 27 English Premier League matches.
The Crystal Palace product also played a few games for Manchester United.
Zaha, who amassed 31 caps for his native Ivory Coast, arrived earlier in the day in Istanbul.
