Motorcycling's British Grand Prix was delayed repeatedly on Sunday after rain made conditions too dangerous for MotoGP riders.
Organisers scheduled their latest track inspection for 1500 local (1400GMT) and added that there was no option to hold the race on Monday.
"It's not an easy day for anyone, this is clear. Not a good day for the fans, the organisers, the teams, the riders. But you cannot go against nature, and this is the story," said Repsol Honda team boss Alberto Puig.
"Now we have to see if it's possible to make the race.
"We are here and all the teams want to make the show for the fans. They are waiting and we want to perform. But it's not in our hands."
